LogisValley to Develop Logistics Center in Texas, USA

HTNS, a logistics affiliate within LogisValley Group, announced that it executed a land purchase agreement on January 23 to construct a logistics center in Taylor, Texas, USA.

Accordingly, LogisValley plans to invest 70 billion KRW to build a 251,080 sqf logistics facility on a 12.24 acre (49,453 sqm) site within the RCR Taylor Logistics Park in Taylor, Texas.

The site is situated directly across from Samsung Electronics' $17 billion semiconductor manufacturing facility in Taylor, making it an ideal strategic hub for providing transport services for semiconductor equipment, raw materials, and components. Given the high sensitivity of advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment to temperature and humidity, LogisValley plans to integrate climate control systems into the warehouse for safe storage.

Located within the RCR Logistics Park, the facility offers a strategic location for international import/export logistics as well as US-Mexico cross-border freight operations. Direct rail connections to Union Pacific and BNSF Railway—America's largest rail transport networks—ensure high accessibility to the Port of Houston. Driven by these logistical advantages, Tesla also operates its Gigafactory in the surrounding region.

HTNS, the group’s international freight forwarding affiliate, has been providing logistics services to client companies through its established hubs in Dallas, the Port of Houston, and Austin. Through this investment, HTNS will open a dedicated branch in Taylor to expand logistics support for Samsung Electronics and various other shippers.

Starting with Taylor in Texas, LogisValley aims to develop and operate 10 logistics centers across key US states, including Georgia, California, Pennsylvania, Illinois, and Florida. Beyond the US, the company plans to extend its North American logistics infrastructure and operational footprint into Mexico and Canada.

Through these strategic expansions, LogisValley plans to grow its global logistics network from 50 hubs across 25 countries to 100 hubs across 50 countries by 2030. Currently operating 43 overseas logistics facilities, the company aims to scale to 100 centers by 2030, developing 50 core hubs as proprietary, company-owned assets. A LogisValley official emphasized, "LogisValley Group's core competencies encompass a global logistics network, operational capabilities, and automated logistics systems. While we hold strength across all three domains, our expanding global network will serve as our ultimate competitive edge."

Meanwhile, LogisValley acquired an 85,000 sqm site for a logistics facility in Hungary in 2022, with construction scheduled to break ground this year. Additionally, the company has established a 90,000 sqm proprietary state-of-the-art logistics center in Aam, adjacent to Incheon Port, to deliver differentiated logistics services targeting surging Cross-Border E-commerce volumes originating from China.
