LogisValley Group’s HTNS Targets Global Air Logistics Market

HanaroTNS (CEO Yoon Gun Byung), the logistics execution arm within LogisValley Group, is targeting the global air logistics market by constructing 'LogisValley Incheon Airport GDC (Global Distribution Center)' equipped with state-of-the-art facilities on Site 2A2 in Incheon International Airport's 2nd Logistics Park.

This logistics center represents a total investment of 71 billion KRW, spanning 5 stories above ground with a gross floor area of 53,698 m² (16,244 py), targeting completion in July 2026.

Synergies are expected to be generated based on LogisValley's global network—which has plans to establish 100 locations across 50 countries by 2030—its differentiated logistics services, and Incheon International Airport's cargo volumes. In particular, by securing a strategic base at Incheon International Airport, a hub in Northeast Asia, the company plans to make full use of geographical location advantages and the airport-type Free Trade Zone.

LogisValley plans to deliver advanced logistics services to client companies and contribute to enhancing national competitiveness in the air logistics market by linking its currently operating Incheon Airport 1st Logistics Park Center, LogisValley Incheon Port GDC (scheduled to open in April 2024), and Incheon Airport GDC (scheduled for completion in 2026).

HanaroTNS plans to promote new business models including Global Distribution Centers, transshipment cargo transport, and new-growth cargo transport. The Global Distribution Center will be constructed as a customized integrated storage and delivery infrastructure for major domestic and international online platform operators and manufacturers, providing optimal global fulfillment services such as cost savings for client companies. The transshipment cargo transport business plans to deploy third-country transshipment cargo (next-generation Sea & Air) transport connecting Japan and China with the Americas and Europe, as well as B2B global e-commerce export cargo transport. Lastly, in the new-growth cargo transport business, taking into account the growth of e-commerce and cold chain markets, a cold chain hub will be built targeting biopharmaceuticals, fresh foods, and related items. In addition, using the integrated logistics platform 'LogisValley One' system developed and operated internally by LogisValley, the company plans to provide global standard comprehensive logistics services including smart logistics, fulfillment, and digital forwarding.

Once Incheon Airport GDC is completed and full-scale operations begin, it is expected to handle an annual average of 120,000 tons of air cargo, expanding to 170,000 tons by 2030 and 400,000 tons by 2040, thereby processing more than 10% of Incheon Airport's total cargo volume. In terms of job creation, it is projected to employ more than 500 people over 5 years following the start of operations, with logistics experts selected and deployed for early stabilization. Furthermore, the company possesses workforce recruitment plans taking into account future regional development and industry-academic cooperation.

A LogisValley Group official stated, "LogisValley has been operating a logistics center within Incheon Airport's 1st Logistics Park since 2006, providing air freight services at major global airports including the US, Poland, Hungary, Vietnam, and India based on differentiated forwarding capabilities." He added, "This Incheon Airport GDC is expected to strengthen Incheon Airport's logistics hub functions and serve as a 'core base' connecting Asia with the Americas and Europe." He expressed his ambition, stating, "LogisValley, which has grown alongside Incheon International Airport over the past 17 years, aims to soar even higher through the expansion of logistics infrastructure and freight transport networks."
