Yangju City - LogisValley Co., Ltd., Investment and Employment Agreement for Eunnam Industrial Complex

Yangju City, Gyeonggi-do announced on the 1st that LogisValley Co., Ltd., Korea's largest complex logistics company, will move into the Eunnam General Industrial Complex, strengthening its position as the largest complex logistics hub base in northern Gyeonggi.

On the 30th of last month, Yangju City signed an investment MOU and employment agreement with LogisValley Co., Ltd. in the City Hall Situation Room for the successful creation of the Yangju Eunnam General Industrial Complex and job creation.

Attending the signing ceremony on this day were Mayor of Yangju Lee Seong Ho, National Assembly Member Seong Ho Jeong, and the CEO of LogisValley Co., Ltd., among others, who agreed to actively cooperate to revitalize the local economy and create jobs through feasible large-scale corporate investments.

The Yangju Eunnam General Industrial Complex possesses an excellent regional transportation network, being adjacent to the Gwangjeok IC of the Capital Region Second Ring Expressway. In particular, it is evaluated as an industrial complex with outstanding locational competitiveness, having been reflected in the Comprehensive Development Plan for Areas Surrounding US Forces in Korea in October last year, and administrative procedures for industrial complex project approval are currently underway.

LogisValley Co., Ltd. is Korea's largest complex logistics company funded by 6 companies including Cheonma, BOWOO, and SLK, and is scheduled to move into the Yangju Eunnam General Industrial Complex at a scale of approximately 150,000 py.

The city projects the creation of over 50,000 jobs upon operation of the complex logistics, and expects that local employment will improve significantly through the employment agreement for prioritizing the hiring of Yangju citizens.

Yangju Mayor Lee Sung-ho stated, "We will actively provide support so that we can coexist and develop together through attracting LogisValley Co., Ltd.," adding, "We will continuously devise support measures for the successful creation of the Yangju Eunnam General Industrial Complex and for resident companies."
