LogisValley Completes 2nd Logistics Center in Bac Ninh, Vietnam

On March 15th, LogisValley, a specialized logistics center investment company, held a completion ceremony for the 'LOGISVALLEY & WOOJIN GLOBAL LOGISTICS' logistics center in Vietnam.

LogisValley, a corporation and logistics center brand established with capital contributions from seven Korean companies (Woojin Global Logistics, DPL, Sunkyung E&C, Bowoo Systems, Cheonma Logistics, Joongseon ITC, and Hanaro T&S), is drawing attention as it strengthens its position in the Vietnamese logistics center development market by introducing its second logistics center just a year after the completion of its first logistics center in April last year.

This second logistics center completed in Bac Ninh, Vietnam, features a land area of 63,358 m², a total floor area of 38,005 m², and a loading dock area of 17,200 m², allowing 54 vehicles to berth simultaneously and accommodating parking for 30 passenger cars and 360 motorcycles. Notably, taking into account Vietnam's soil conditions, it constructed a solid foundation using 42,000 meters of piles, and features construction using approximately 1,200 tons of steel structures and imported panels manufactured in Korea.

In addition, 56 overhead doors and 13 dock levelers were installed to facilitate smooth loading and unloading operations, while the super-flat floor was designed considering the smooth movement of 3-way VNA forklifts. Along with this, 18 eco-fans installed on the ceiling planned smooth airflow within the warehouse, realizing a comfortable working environment. At the completion ceremony, Managing Director Won Ho Choi stated in his progress report, "As an eco-friendly building featuring LED lighting, turf blocks, and ample landscaping space, it will serve as a new standard for logistics centers in Vietnam."

On this day, Yoon Gun Byung, representative director of LogisValley, explained through a congratulatory speech, "A logistics center is like the heart of logistics. Just as a person can live healthily only with a strong heart, all logistics activities can proceed smoothly and enhance corporate competitiveness only with a good logistics center." He subsequently added, "Leveraging our experience in Korea, LogisValley aims to complete 10 state-of-the-art logistics centers in Vietnam. Next month, we will begin construction of Vietnam's largest logistics center on the land acquired last year in the Dong Nai region near Ho Chi Minh City," and said, "We will strive to make LogisValley a company that continuously creates logistics infrastructure capable of delivering better logistics services."

LogisValley, which aims to build 10 ultra-large logistics centers in Vietnam, is planning 3rd and 4th logistics centers in Ho Chi Minh City and a 5th logistics center in Hai Phong in the future. In addition, starting with Vietnam, it plans to expand its business into Southeast Asia, including Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos, and India.
